How do certain foods and brands enter into pop culture and become icons for a generation? How many of our childhood memories are tied to a specific snack or candy or drink? Well, a catchy jingle can do the trick. Here is a blast from my past and an excellent example of how a catchy jingle or catch phrase can really cement a product in the public’s mind.

I loved that commercial! When my daughter was little, I taught her that song. She was much cuter than that other kid.
Did you teach her the hot dog song too? oh i wish i were an oscar meyer weiner, that is what i’d really like to be, ‘cuz if i were an oscar meyer weiner, everyone would be in love with me

LOL!! My husband’s sister swears they NEVER had bologna, my husband says they lived off of it
. My favorite childhood memory: NUTELLA! Still is…my kids love it too.
I ate more bologna as a child than was probably good for me and even now some freshly sliced mortadella on fresh bread sends me over the moon!
