Frutto della Passione

My Milano

I have created this page to show off a city that makes you work hard to fall in love with it, but when you do it becomes hard to let go. I don’t know how much writing will happen here, but there will definitely be photographs. Stop by whenever you can for candid views of the place I have learned to call home. I will be updating this page regularly.

It is possible to visit the top of Milan’s Duomo (cathedral) and walk about the terraces. The amazing thing is that when it was built, I don’t think the possibity of tourists wandering around up there was taken into consideration. Nonetheless, extraordinary detail was put into the stone work. Enjoy the view.

I lived 8 years in Milano and really enjoyed your photos of the city. I agree, it is a difficult city to like initially but certainly has it’s perks! I too am from Ontario (recently left Toronto) and we just bought a new home in Umbria.
